Dwayne was the founding pastor of Wellspring Church, Charlotte NC in 2007, which he was ordained in 2007. He is a board member of Acts 29 Network he is the Director of Pastoral Care. In addition to pastoring Dwayne has a passion for training the future generation of biblical counselors. He serves on the board of directors for the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He has written numerous online publications as well as a co-author in Christ Centered biblical counseling Transformation of Lives through God's Unchangeable Word (eds. Kelleman, Viars).
